Hi, I'm Roy Michie,

I've worked as a Diesel Mechanic all of my life. Having completed my apprentiship at E. Anders and Sons, Freeling, 1984-88, and after
some time at Nicholls Crane Service, I spent 10 years in Underground Mining as a Diesel Fitter and most recently 8 years in Oil and Gas as a Mechanical Technician.

After 25 years now, and in my mid 40's I feel the desire to step back from 12 hour days with fly in, fly out rosters, to take on the challenge of operating my own business. I've gained a wide variety of skills and knowledge in the last 25 yrs. but the one constant has been hydraulics. So let my knowledge and experience help you.

Experience

8 Years: Halliburton, Oil and Gas services. Oil and gas fields across Australia. Field maintenance on Halliburton high pressure pumping equipment and infrastructure.

10 Years: Underground Mining with various mining contractors on sites across the western half of Australia. As a frontline underground fitter maintaining underground drills, loaders and trucks.

3 Years: Nicholls crane service, Wingfield, Repair and maintenance on cranes and fitting truck loading cranes.

5 Years: Heavy Vehicle (Diesel) Apprentiship + 1 year at E. Anders and Sons, Freeling, Agriculture based.

In short, over 25 years of hands on, filthy dirty, hard won experience.
